Yes the restaurant may look untrustworthy, the way the food is served is a bit wild too, but forget about it : the dumplings are the BEST of Auckland. Fresh, tasty, for an unbeatable price. I swallowed 30 dumplings and I could go for ten more. The owner and his family are kind, it was definitely a great experience !

Nice dumpling place had some craving of Chinese food and saw the reviews was not bad. Food was delicious and the sweet & spicy chicken was lovely.

Got the broccoli side dish, vegan pan-fried and pork pan-fried dumplings. This small space is a gem and we couldn’t have asked for a better last night meal in NZ! The flavors were great and mixed up some chili oil and soy sauce for an extra kick! Will absolutely come again to have the stir fry noodles and more dumplings one day :)

We had pork chives and venison dumplings. The portion was huge – if you are not a big eater I would recommend taking the size S instead of size L. It tasted great and the price is reasonable. The dough is really silky and the meat was tasty. Could be juicier though. If I understood correctly, everything is handmade from dough to filling (even the minced meat is made in-house, that's really awesome). We had to wait for 15 minutes and the owner gave us algae salad for free. He seemed really busy since a lot of take-away-orders came in, so I really appreciated him being thoughtful about us.
However I would not recommend to sit in if you want a cosy dinner. The place is quite small and the door was left open. Our table as well as the porcelaine jar of the soysauce were dirty. Also worth mentioning: not everything on the menu displayed outside was available. All in all it's a good choice for dumplings for take away or a quick dine-in.

If you want delicious dumplings and don’t care about atmosphere, this place is for you. Quick service, simple menu, reasonable prices, no frills dining. Only 4-5 tables so not suitable for large groups. No restroom accessible to customers from what we could see but didn’t ask if there was one to use behind the counter.
The chicken and mushroom, vegetarian, and vegan dumplings were delicious. We’d go back if we need a quick and reliable stop for lunch but the place itself is a little run-down.
